Reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary health therapy, based on the theory that different points on the feet, lower leg, hands, face or ears correspond with different areas of the body.
Reflexology is a therapy which can be received by anyone at any age, from newborn babies to those receiving end of life care.
The theory is that reflexology helps the body to restore its balance naturally. Usually, after a treatment your tension may be reduced and you might feel relaxed. You might also feel more able to cope and may find your mood and sense of wellbeing improving. The treatment can affect different people in different ways and my experience has influenced my work to maximise the effects on an individual basis.
I have been a qualified Reflexologist since 1995 and in 2000 qualified as a Polarity therapist. I have extensive experience in working with the general public helping them with a variety of problems and have worked with people with learning difficulties. The reflexology and polarity combine together well giving a holisic approach to medical and stress related problems. I have practiced and taught yoga for over 30 years. I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists and have full insurance for reflexology, polarity and yoga.
