Reflexology, Classical Manipulation (McTimoney philosophy and teaching), Massage (inc Therapeutic and Acupressure) - all involve Healing (however you perceive that).

In the belief that any training will add to the main qualifications I have to create a wider range of eclectic values, my other training include: sitting acupressure massage, Japanese head massage, Phlebotomy (you may wonder! Don't use this at all), muscle release techniques, and numerous courses linked to residential care work.

I do not believe there is only one type of treatment that cures all.  With that in mind, I will refer those patients whom I feel would benefit from another type of treatment which I cannot offer.  Networking.

About me

I have been a Complementary Therapist since 1994 and now work from home.  I also work part-time with the elderly in their residential home - mostly with those who suffer dementia.  And also with adults in their residential units who have learning difficulties.  All in all, I have been in the care industry since 1980 starting with disadvantaged children and young offenders.

My training has been via The McTimoney College, Oxford (1996), Oxford School of Reflexology (1995), Oxford School of Massage (1994) inc ITEC and various other qualifications  over the years (inc CPD) to enhance these trainings.  I see my patients as individuals with their own specific needs and therefore my treatments tend to be eclectic - all part of Healing.

Am registered with the: Association for Classical Manipulation, Association of Reflexologists, British Complementary Medicine Association and General Regulatory Council for Complementary Therapies; and insured for all my therapies.  Member of the GMB Union.

Availability

In the belief that pain has no schedule, I am as flexible as possible.  This means that I am available 7 days a week, throughout the day and including most Bank Holidays.  My fees are variable but as a guide, they range from £45 for the initial visit to £40 for follow-up treatments.  Children and young folk up to 16 years are less.
