Quothquan is a village in Libberton parish, South Lanarkshire, Scotland. It is 3 ¹⁄₄ miles north-west of Biggar, and 7 ¹⁄₂ miles south-east of Lanark. Quothquan has a village hall near the remains of the graveyard and the ruins of a chapel. To the south-west is the 1,098-foot high Quothquan Law, topped by the remains of a hill fort. The hill comprises two elements, one is an enclosure to the south-east which is around 400 by 230 feet. Wikipedia
