What is Reflexology?
With my hands I apply various techniques to activate points in your feet that correspond to parts of your body. In addition I give directions on how to enhance your body awareness to engage and utilise your inherent ability to recover and regenerate.
If you are exhausted and stressed or looking for ways to relax Reflexology is an empowering tool. It is increasingly used in hospitals, for maternity support and as a complementary approach to manage physical and emotional conditions.
Reflexology has been used in many civilisations for thousands of years, including India, China, Japan and Native America. The earliest specific evidence appeared 4,500 years ago in Ancient Egypt.
What is Grinberg Method?
Your ability to achieve whatever you want is in your hands. By identifying your automatic methods of reacting to situations, learning how to manage these methods and allowing yourself a greater range of options, life is richer.
In a session you learn how to work with and adjust your reaction, training yourself to control the reaction as a physical experience. At a certain point your reactions can be contained so well that you can influence what happens in your life.
Typically, sessions are individual, one hour and are given weekly. During a session I will adapt to your needs and use manual techniques, breathing exercises, verbal instructions and description to teach you the tools to achieve your goal. Skills you will develop include attentiveness, breathing, contracting, resisting, and letting go. At the close of each session you will leave with a clear learning experience on how to apply your greater body attention and control in your daily life.
The Grinberg Method was developed by Israeli Avi Grinberg (b.1955). He engaged in the study and practice of different techniques from various cultures dedicated to healing and recovery. After several years of applying what he learnt he realised that people lacked the know-how to self-heal and prevent limiting experiences diminishing their life. Out of this observation he transformed his whole approach away from treating people to teaching them how to actively participate in their own wellbeing.
