Reflexology (to feet and hands)
Reflexology works holistically helping the body to restore its natural balance. There is usually a feeling of relaxation, reduction in tension, better sleep and a feeling of improved overall well-being.
Stress, both mental and physical, is a major factor in upsetting the balance of the body. It is estimated that 75% of all disease is stress related. When the system ceases to function effectively and efficiently, the imbalance begins to drain the body's vital energy and immunity making more likely for disease to occur. By relieving stress other problems may be prevented in the future.
Mini Spa Reflexology
The addition of a foot soak and scrub, with natural organic products, prior to your reflexology treatment. It is the perfect way to start the natural therapy proocess - beneficial to the feet and helping to calm the mind.
Baby and Toddler Reflex Workshops (for parents and guardians)
I offer tender-touch Baby Reflex, a specially adapted simple form of reflexology created to assist parents with the well-being of their baby (from the age of 4 weeks) or toddler. The easy to learn techniques are taught to parents in fun, hands on workshops on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
Focus for babies: feeding and digestion; sleeping and comforting; well-being.
Focus for toddlers: "every day" and "as and when".
Volunteer Therapist for Weldmar Hospicecare Trust
Reflexology offers a time for peace and relaxation to carers and the bereaved who can lose interest in or neglect their own well-being. So often they focus on making life as comfortable as possible for the patient, try to remain strong for others, or are devastated following the loss of a loved one, overlooking their own needs. This has led me to becoming a volunteer therapist for Weldmar Hospicecare Trust offering reflexology to carers and the bereaved.
I offer treatments in a calm, relaxing and tranquil environment. I am passionate about helping clients to find their way to a balanced body and mind.
I find that many clients benefit from having a private, confidential environment to talk about their personal issues and I believe that many health issues are due to stress and diet. To enable me to develop my knowledge and skills in these areas, I am continually studying different subjects and therapies which enable me to offer after-care guidance to my clients encouraging them towards finding their own path to a positive way forward and a healthy and balanced mind and body.
